Japanese adult anime distributor Green Bunny has confirmed that the first episode of the fourth La Blue Girl OAV series will debut on May 25th. (La Blue Girl and Shin La Blue Girl were released in the US as one series- La Blue Girl. The third Japanese series, La Blue Girl EX, was released in America under the title Lady Blue.)

After missing its originally scheduled December 2000 release, the second episode of Yasuomi Umetsu’s follow up to Kite, Mezzo Forte has now been confirmed for Japanese release on April 25th. Green-Bunny has posted the “conte” storyboards for some of the second OAV on their site, which may be of interest to anime fans curious about how anime is created. The site also features a downloadable QuickTime trailer for the first OAV. (Please be aware that the trailer contains adult material and is not suitable for viewing by minors.) Media Blasters owns the American translation and distribution rights to the Mezzo Forte anime series.
