New Guest Announced for Anime Expo

Anime Expo has announced that Yoko Ishida will appear as a guest of honor at the convention and perform in concert. Ishida-san has sung the opening themes for Shin Shirayukihime Densetsu Pretear, Chicchana Yukitsukai Sugar, Ai Yori Aoshi, and the Sailormoon R ending theme and been featured as a vocalist on the “Ultra Anime Eurobeat Series – Para Para Max” CDs from Pioneer.

According to Anime News Service, veteran voice actress Mayumi Tanaka will attend Anime Expo New York as a guest of honor. Tanaka-san has provided the voices of characters including Kuririn and Yajirobe from Dragonball, Kanna Kirishima from Sakura Taisen, Koenma from Yu Yu Hakusho, Ryunosuke of Urusei Yatsura, and Pazu from Laputa among others.
