New Genre Academic Journal Seeks Submissions

The first volume of Mechademia, an academic journal covering anime, manga, game design, fashion, graphics, packaging, toys, and a broad range of fan practices related to Japanese popular culture, has issued a request for submissions. The first volume of the journal will be published by the University of Minnesota Press in fall 2006.
