New Frederik Schodt Interview Available

The Japan Foundation has published an exclusive interview with manga translation pioneer Frederik L. Schodt. The extended interview, available in the current Japan Foundation Newsletter, covers Schodt’s introduction to manga and early efforts to promote manga to English speaking readers, as well as his recent books on Japanese history and culture.
