New DVD Announcements

Media Blasters has revealed that the final volume (volume 22) of the Rurouni Kenshin TV series, sub-titled “End Song,” will include episodes 91-95 and debut in America on September 24th. Also premiering on September 24th will be Y’s Book One, the entire 4 episode first OAV series on a single DVD.

Media Blasters has also confirmed that the Babel II TV series will premier on domestic DVD and dubbed VHS on August 27th, and the adult titles Parade Parade and Sex Demon Queen will premier on DVD on September 24th.

According to Anime on DVD, AD Vision will release both the original 2 episode Galaxy Frauline Yuna OAV series and the 3 episodes Galaxy Frauline Yuna: Shin’en no Fairy OAV series on a single DVD for $29.98 on August 6th. That is all 5 bilingual episodes for the price of one of the original subtitled VHS tapes.
