New Captain Harlock TV Series Announced

According to Anime News Service, Rintaro will helm a new Space Pirate Captain Harlock TV series schedule to premier on Japanese television this September. Rintaro, who directed the original 1978 TV series, will direct the new series featuring character designs by Nobuteru Yuuki and a story by Boogiepop Phantom and Perfect Blue screenwriter Sadayuki Murai.
