New Appleseed Movie Announced

The Japanese Sponichi Annex news site has announced that plans are now underway for the production of a film adaptation of Masamune Shirow’s Appleseed manga for worldwide theatrical release next year. The film will apparently be a combination of traditional cel art an CG rendered with a new “Trinity Engine” graphics program.
