New Anime Productions Announced

The “obi” on the just released volume of Yu Yabuuchi’s Naisho no Tsubomi: Mebae manga reveals plans for an anime adaptation of the Naisho no Tsubomi manga series. The acclaimed manga series is a fictionalized “sex education” story for pre-adolescent Japanese girls. Japanese anime news site Earl Box hosts a photo of the printed announcement. The Saigoutsuchou Kobore Hanashi news site reports that the July 30th issue of Young Magazine formally announced that an anime adaptation of Nobuyuki Fukumoto’s gambling manga series Tobaku Mokushiroku Kaiji will premier in October. Fukumoto’s gambling manga series Akagi was turned into an anime television series in 2005.

Reportedly the current issue of Monthly Ikki magazine includes a confirmation that Kazuo Hara’s comedy manga series Noramimi will be adapted into an anime television series.
