Multiple Shotaro Ishinomori Manga Movies Planned

Japan’s Itochu Corporation has formally announced a partnership with American film production company Comic Book Movies, LLC. that will produce, “motion picture franchises based on the original properties of the late Shotaro Ishinomori.” Anime News Service and ICv2 News have both reported that the first film to be produced will be an adaptation of the Cyborg 009 manga, but neither report identifies the source of this information.
