Millennium Actress Scheduled for R2 DVD Release

Bandai has announced that the award winning anime film Millennium Actress (Chiyoko Now & Forever) will be released to Japanese DVD on February 25th. The film will be released in a limited edition Collector’s Box, and in a regular edition. The Collector’s Box edition will 2 disc set housed in a box illustrated by director Satoshi Kon. The set will include the movie, a 30 minute long “making of” DVD, a 400 page book of storyboards and design works, liner notes booklet, a postcard book, and a special towel and retail for 12,800 yen. The regular edition will be a single disc with liner notes booklet and retail for 4800 yen. Both feature discs will include trailers and optional English subtitles. There is no mention of English subtitles on the Collector’s Edition “making of” DVD.
