Metropolis Announced for Japanese DVD

The Japanese DVD release of Metropolis is schedules for release on December 7th in two versions. A movie only DVD will retail for only 3800 yen while a 12,800 yen Memorial box for 12,800 y will include the movie in DTS and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio and a second bonus disk with extra footage, trailers, a pilot feature created back in 1997, extensive liner notes, and a 120 page booklet and collection of original storyboard drawings by director Rin Taro.
