Media Blasters Schedules New Releases

Media Blasters has announced a January 25th release date for the classic 1957 Japanese sci-fi/giant monster epic The Mysterians (Chikyu Boeigun), directed by Ishiro Honda, director of the original Gojira movie. The subtitled only feature will retail at $19.95.

The Deluxe Edition DVD of director Takeshi Miike’s Fudoh will retail at $34.95 beginning January 11, 2005. The Deluxe Edition DVD will feature a new anamorphic transfer with 5.1 audio and bonus interviews with director Takeshi Miike and co-star Riki Takeuchi.

Media Blasters’ manga line will debut Takayuki Yamaguchi’s Apocalypse Zero (Kakugo no Susume) and Masayuki Taguchi’s Baron Gong Battle manga series on January 5th. Both series are gruesome and gory action stories for mature readers.
