Media Blasters Rescues Fushigi Yuugi

Media Blasters has quietly revealed an April release for its license rescue of the first season of the 1995 shoujo fantasy television series Fushigi Yuugi. Geneon released the 52 episode television series on domestic DVD in 1999. All of the domestic Fushigi Yuugi DVDs have been out of print for years. Media Blasters has not revealed whether its release will be a repackaging of the Geneon release or a new transfer/translation.

Great to see this perenial favorite getting American circulation again.
