Media Blasters announced at last weekend’s Anime Expo convention that they have acquired the translation rights to:

7 of Seven (Shichinin no Nana)– the recently concluded 25 episode adventure comedy TV series.

Iria: Zeiram the Animation- apparently picked up after CPM’s license of the title expired.

Tales of Eternia – a 2001 13 episode TV series adaptation of the Namco fantasy RPG for the Playstation.

Seraphim Call – a 12 episode “life sim” drama featuring character designs by Aoi Nanase.

Sentimental Journey – a 12 episode “life sim” TV series from 1998 based on the Sentimental Graffiti PC games.

Yume de Atera – a 16 (short) episode romantic comedy

There are no plans for Rurouni Kenshin DVD boxed sets this year, at least.

Apparently an unidentified American production company has licensed the option for a live-action adaptation of Kite.

Media Blasters will be releasing more Bible Black hentai anime in America. In Japan the series currently has 4 episodes in the first series, 1 episode in a prequel series and 1 episode in a third series with more episodes still in production.

Media Blasters has the American distribution rights to Takeshi Miike’s ultra-bloody live action manga adaptation movie Ichi the Killer.
