Media Blasters Acquires Zatoichi TV Series

The Digital Bits has confirmed that Media Blasters has acquired American distribution rights to the 100 episode long live action Zatoichi television series that began in 1974. The first 26 episode season will be released on domestic DVD next year. Following seasons will be released depending on the sales success of the first season.
