McFarlane Starts Marketing Anime Figures

McFarlane Toys has begun to market their “3D Animation from Japan” action figures line in preparation for an October release. The following appeared in this month’s Previews magazine:

“McFarlane’s 3D Animation from Japan: Revered for decades in its native Japan, anime (slang for animation) has only recently become popular in the United States. In choosing characters for the line, McFarlane Toys went with icons that represent different styles of anime properties recognizable by most fans. Testuo (Akira), Keneda (Akira), Vash the Stampede (Trigun), Ryoko (Tenchi Muyo), and the Akira Motorcycle are due out this October.”
