Marvel Comics Tsunami Updates

Marvel Comics editor C.B. Cebulski has officially confirmed that manga artist Mizuki Sakakibara has been replaced by Salvador Larocca as the artist of Namor. According to Cebulski, the change was made to give Namor a more recognized artist name association for its debut. Sakakibara will be moved to a different, as yet undetermined, Marvel comic.

Marvel Comics has also announced that the new adventure comic “Quest” will be drawn by Japanese manga artist Yuji Iwahara, the artist behind the manga adaptation of the Playstation game Koudelka. Quest, written by Andi Watson, will be a fantasy adventure target primarily at a younger “Harry Potter” audience.
