Manglobe Announces New Production

Manglobe, the animation studio responsible for Samurai Champloo and Ergo Proxy, has announced its next anime series. Michiko to Hatchin (“Michiko & Hatchin”) will be an adventure series about a young woman attempting to escape from prison and a young girl attempting to escape from her strict foster parents. The television series will debut later this year.
