Manga Entertainment News from Anime Central

Manga Entertainment announced at last weekend’s Anime Central convention that the upcoming Ninja Scroll 10th Anniversary DVD will be a double disc set.

The second Street Fighter Alpha (Street Fighter Zero) OAV series is scheduled to begin production in Japan in September.

Manga will likely license the upcoming Read or Dream anime TV series for American release.

American DVD distribution for Giant Robo is still in negotiations.

Gunbuster will be released to subtitled only DVD in October either as a 2 disc set or as a single double-sided DVD.

The Macross Plus movie might be dubbed and remastered. Macross 7 is not licensed for American release because it’s a prohibitively expensive title.
