Manga Entertainment Announcements from Anime Expo

According to Amanda Wynn-Lee, director (and voice actress) of the Evangelion movies, production will begin in two weeks. Presumably this means the beginning of the dubbing and subtitling process.

Virus, the cyber-punk action TV series from Masami Obari (no relation to the American comic book & movie) will begin production in two months and is due out early next year.

As reported by the British Sci-Fi.com, Manga Entertainment Limited of the UK, the company that founded the American Manga Entertainment, has closed its doors permanently, further reducing the already dwindling number of anime distributing companies remaining in the UK.
