Manga Entertainment Acquires Blood

Although no press announcement has been released, after entering the “Manga Summer X-plosion,” contest, one receives a one sentence response stating, “We will continue to bring you the best Japanese animation to the US soon including the NEON GENESIS EVANGELION movie and BLOOD, the brand new, highly-sophisticated anime thriller from Production IG (Ghost in the Shell)” For those that are interested, the official Production IG website for Blood is in English. In another new announcement, Manga Entertainmet’s Summer X-plosion contest news page states that Manga will release the two episode Street Fighter Zero, known in the US as Street Fighter Alpha, OAV series on September 26th.
