Manga Announces Shadow Skill DVD

Manga Entertainment has published an official press release advertising the November 27th release of Shadow Skill on DVD. The 120 minute long single disc will include both of Manga Entertainment’s Shadow Skill VHS releases- the original “pilot” OAV (released in Japan as “Shadow Skill volume 2.5 Act 16: Karma”) and the 3 episode OAV series that followed the premier OAV by roughly 2 years.

The violent martial arts fantasy features voice acting by fan favorite seiyuu Megumi Hayashibara. The DVD will be bilingual with supplemental character biographies, a photo gallery and a retail price of $29.95.

While never a major success in America with its VHS release, Shadow Skill was popular enough in Japan to warrant the creation of a 26 episode TV series in 1998.
