Madhouse to Animate Btooom!

Madhouse is set to animate Junya Inoue’s cyber-suspense manga Btooom! Chihayafuru & Madoka Magica episode director Kotono Watanabe will take on first-time series directing responsibilities. Hellsing & High School of the Dead screenwriter Yousuke Kuroda will write the series scripts. Baccano! and Durarara!! character designer Takahiro Kishida will provide character design. The ongoing manga that started in 2009 revolves around a young man mysteriously pulled into the explosive digital world of the Btooom! online game.
