Live Action Saijo no Meii Drama Announced

Reportedly next week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine will formally announce the development of a live action TV drama based on Takashi Hashiguchi and Kenzo Irie’s current manga Saijo no Meii (The Best Skilled Surgeon). The manga series stars a young man who was saved during his infancy by a skilled pediatric surgeon. To express his gratitude, the young man decides to himself become the world’s greatest pediatric surgeon. The series will premiere next January.
