Live Action Moyashimon TV Series Announced

Morning magazine has formally announced that a live action TV series adaptation of Masayuki Ishikawa’s award winning manga series Moyashimon will air in the Fuji TV network’s late night Noitamina timeslot next year. An anime adaptation aired as a Noitamina program in 2007. Moyashimon is a humorous drama about an agricultural university student who has the unique ability to see and communicate with microbes.

Is it just me or is Moyashimon really not quite as interesting as its reputation suggests?
