Doesn’t matter how much he cares about the script as long as Rothman’s still calling the shots. The real problem, though, is that CB doesn’t have enough of a fan-base to sustain a big-budget picture. Hell, as well as the show did for Bandai’s sales and AS’s ratings, Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door still did poorly in theaters on both sides of the Pacific. So why would anyone wanna chance it on a movie with only one star? It certainly didn’t do much for Max Payne. In fact, I just noticed on IMDB that FOX pushed the release date for CB back to 2011, when I could swear they planned it to be out next year.
