Live Action Chibi Maruko-chan Movie Announced

Japan’s Yahoo News reports that a two hour live action TV special adaptation of Momoko Sakura’s manga/anime series Chibi Maruko-chan will air on Fuji TV stations this April. The TV movie will star 8 year old Morisako Ei, who was selected from an open audition of over 500 applicants.
