Little Witch Academia Trailer Released

Anime studio Trigger has released its first trailer for its 2013 Anime Mirai project short film Little Witch Academia. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt episode director Yoh Yoshinari & producer Naoko Tsutsumi (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) will supervise the production of the short anime as a means of providing on-the-job training for novice professional Japanese animators. Funding for the anime is being provided by the Japanese government’s Agency for Cultural Affairs’ Anime Mirai program. The short film, along with similar original anime shorts from studios Gonzo, ZEXCS, and Madhouse will get a limited Japanese theatrical release on March 2 before airing on Japanese television.
