Latest Word on Escaflowne Movie

Bandai Entertainment has announced that the Escaflowne movie will premier on American DVD in July. As previously announced, the film will begin its limited North American theatrical release on the 25th. The American theatrical teaser trailer is now available at the QuickTime Movie Trailers page and on the official site.

The movie will hit home video as a DVD only release in a standard movie only disc and a special edition with soundtrack CD release similar to the upcoming Jin-Roh Special Edition DVD. The movie DVD release will coincide with Bandai’s release of an Escaflowne TV series DVD boxed set.
