Lack of Japanese Audio on G2K DVD Confirmed

Fandom.com has confirmed, through a letter written directly to them by Masaharu Ina, general manager of Toho Studios, that the upcoming domestic DVD version of Godzilla 2000 will not contain a Japanese language track. Ina confirms that Toho Studios did provide Sony with all of the material necessary for a subtitled Japanese language track, but Sony of America, for unexplained reasons, has chosen not to include an original Japanese language version of the film on the American DVD.
