Korean Gon Animation Announced

Korean production company Tewon Media has obtained rights from Japanese publisher Kodansha to produce an animated series adaptation of Masashi Tanaka’s acclaimed manga series Gon. The Gon manga – an adventure comedy about a 3 foot tall orange dinosaur living in the wild in present day – made its Japanese debut in 1991 and its American debut from DC Comics’ Paradox Press in 1996. DC Comics re-released the series under its CMX label in 2007. The Korean animated series is tentatively scheduled to debut in 2010.
