Kobe Hosts Promotional Anime Short
The Japanese city of Kobe is now promoting the original “Kobe to Watashi ~ Kobe & I” anime short created by independent animator Junichi Yamamoto. The short encouraging tourism to Kobe is being streamed with English subtitles on YouTube and hosted on the city’s homepage. It will also be screened on the Space Theater Harborvision screen in the Harborland shopping district and at Japan’s pavilion at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China event.
Junichi Yamamoto wrote, animated, and directed the short himself. Veteran voice actor Akira Kamiya (Kenshiro, Mendo Shutaro, Ryo Saeba) has a cameo appearance as the co-pilot.
