Kia Asamiya X-Men Designs Online

Newsarama has published the first color images of Kia Asamiya prototype character designs for the Uncanny X-Men in preparation for Asamiya’s ascension to full time penciler on Marvel’s flagship comic book title in December. The overwhelming response to the new look of the characters from X-Men fans posting to the Newsarama forum is very negative, including complaints about the costume design, the character design, and the pure inappropriateness of American characters drawn with a hybrid American comics/Japanese manga style.
