Kangoku Gakuen Anime Announced

The advertising obi on new copies of the 14th collected volume of Akira Hiramoto’s risqué comedy manga Kangoku Gakuen (Prison School) reveals that the manga is getting an anime adaptation. The award-winning manga series that premiered in 2011 revolves around five male students who live a prisoner-like existence while attending a school at which the remaining 995 students are female. The announcement doesn’t specify whether the anime adaptation will be a TV series, OVA, or movie.
