Kaguya-hime Extended Trailer Released

The NTV network’s variety program every has broadcast a three-minute-long trailer for director Isao Takahata’s forthcoming film Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya). Studio Ghibli’s adaptation of the classic “Taketori Monogatari” Japanese folktale is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on the 23rd. The movie is Takahata’s first directorial work since 1999’s Houhokekyo Tonari no Yamada-kun (“My Neighbors the Yamadas”).
