Japanese Film Festival Next Month

American Cinematheque and the Japan Foundation are sponsoring the third annual Japanese Outlaw Masters film festival October 5-14th at the Egyptian Theater in Las Angeles. Screenings include a selection of brilliant films by cinematic auteurs Takeshi Miike, “Beat” Takeshi, Shinya Tsukamoto, Takashi Ishii, including Dead or Alive and Audition, Uzumaki, Gonin 2, and the surreal anime OAV Nekojiru-so.
