Japan to Publish First Shoujo Manga Magazine for Men

Japan’s Futabasha Publishing has announced the March 2nd debut release of Comic High, the first monthly manga magazine of shoujo (girls’) manga intended for male readers. The magazine will apparently focus entirely on stories starring female protagonists, unlike typical male-oriented manga magazines that feature masculine characters and violent, action-oriented stories. The magazine’s initial line-up will include:

Joshi Kousei – Baka Gundan (“High School Girls – Army of Idiots”)
Kogyarukan
Kodomo no Jikan (“Kids’ Time”)
Ningen wa Tobu Koto ga Dekinai (“Humans Can’t Fly”)
Gakuen Houtei (“School Court”)
Iinchou O-te wo Douzo (“Class President, Give Me Your Hand”)
