Interview With Coamix Chairman Online

ICv2 News has published a revealing and informative interview with Coamix Chairman Nobu Horie and Gutsoon! Consulting Editor Sam Humphries regarding the upcoming American publication of weekly manga anthology Raijin Comics. The most interesting aspects of the interview, though, are the confirmations of previously unannounced plans from Gutsoon! Entertainment.

Gutsoon! will begin publishing the original Fist of the North Star manga in full color in graphic novel format beginning this fall. A relatively small portion of the Fist of the North Star manga has previously been published in America by Viz Communications. Fist of the North Star will be published exclusively in graphic novel format while the new prequel story, Fist of the Blue Sky, will remain in black & white and appear in the pages of Raijin Comics.

Gutsoon! also has plans to enter the domestic home video market, possibly with presumably a domestic re-release of the Fist of the North Star motion picture early next year.
