Interstella 555 Coming to America

Interstella 555, the music video movie collaboration between French pop group Daft Punk and Japanese animator Leiji Matsumoto, will debut on DVD in France on November 28th, in the UK on December 1st, and finally in Japan and North America on December 2nd.

The Japanese release will be available in a standard DVD only edition and in a special edition that includes 30 minutes of supplemental staff interviews and an audio CD containing 12 Daft Punk tracks never before released to CD. The American release will be a single $19.99 DVD distributed by EMI Distribution. The Japanese special edition audio CD will be sold separately in America beginning January 27th.

The British release will be handled by Virgin Records. There seems to be no detailed information available about the French DVD release yet.
