Rival Schools 2 is scheduled for near simultaneous Dreamcast and arcade release in Japan on December 7th. This new version of the game will add 6 new characters to the established roster of 22. The Dreamcast version will also allow players to edit and personalize characters, save them to the VMU and transfer these personalized characters to the arcade version of the game.

For those interested in samurai fighting games, Genki is preparing their unofficial “sequel” to their Bushido Blade game series, Kengo, for the Playstation 2. The “chambara” simulation game will require the player to learn and master swordsmanship skills, practice the skills, rise your reputation by challenging other dojos, and then finally, pass the exam your master sets for you.
