Impressive Grandia II Voice Outlook

One of the memorable things about the domestic release of Grandia for the Playstation, in addition to the excellent game play, was the almost humorously bad voice work. Things are looking much better for Ubi Soft’s domestic release of the Dreamcast RPG Grandia II. The voice localization of the game will be done by the same team that did Metal Gear Solid for Konami. A 30 to 60 percent English text version of the game will surface shortly in the company’s headquarters, meaning a translation is well under way, even before the Japanese version has seen release. Ubi Soft is currently aiming for Christmas release of the game in the US.
