Image Announces Galerians: Rion

Image Entertainment has announced the release of a Galerians: Rion DVD and soundtrack CD. The Galerians: Rion DVD will presumably contain all 3 episodes of the full CG animation OAV series released in Japan early in 2003 in conjunction with the Galerians: Ash game for the Playstation 2. The domestic DVD will contain a 5.1 Japanese audio track with English, French, German, and Spanish subtitles and retail at $24.98 beginning on April 6th.

Image Entertainment may be altering the soundtrack, though, because while the original Japanese soundtrack for Galerians: Rion was composed by Masahiko Hagio, the domestic CD soundtrack will contain tracks from Adema, Godhead, Sevendust, Slipknot, The Ataris, Skinny Puppy, The Vandals, and Fear Factory. The CD soundtrack will retail at $16.98.
