Hypnotist Premier Clarification

We’ve received an update from AD Vision regarding the AnimeNation news article from Tuesday, March 6th about the American premier of the live-action Japanese suspense/horror film The Hypnotist. The movie will have its American theatrical premier at the Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema, April 26 through May 7th. The version of the movie to be screened at the festival will be a subtitled print provided by Toho Studios of Japan. AD Vision has informed us that their domestic rights for the film include only home video distribution, so they’ll be releasing their own original subtitled translation on the forthcoming home video release of the film.
