Howl’s Moving Castle Nominated for Annie Awards

The Hollywood branch of the ASIFA (International Animated Film Society) has announced its nominations for the 2005 Annie Awards. Howl’s Moving Castle has been nominated as Best Animated Feature. Hayao Miyazaki has been nominated as Best Director for Howl’s Moving Castle, and Miyazaki along with American screenwriters Donald H. Hewitt and Cindy Davis Hewitt have been nominated for the Best Writing award. Winners will be announced on Saturday, February 4, 2006.
