Hand Maid May Licensed

Word has leaked out of Pioneer earlier than anticipated that Pioneer does indeed plan to bring the 11 episode (10 broadcast plus 1 home video extra episode) sci-fi comedy TV series Hand Maid May to America. The series will be released in 3 volumes containing 4 then 3 then 4 episodes.

Hand Maid May is a comedy about a young inventor in contemporary Japan who comes into possession of a 1/6 scale housemaid android named May. Mayday Anime has posted a review and screen shots of the series for those interested. Unfortunately, the official Japanese website has been taken over by an American pornography site.
