Gunparade March Anime Scheduled

Composer Kenji Kawai has confirmed on his homepage that the Gunparade March anime TV series will premier on Japanese television in January. Kawai, who has composed the music for anime including Ranma 1/2, Patlabor, and the Ghost in the Shell movie, will provide the opening theme and background music for the new series.

Although virtually unknown outside of Japan, Gunparade March is an award winning and immensely popular Playstation game that combines high-school life-sim adventure game elements with tactical mecha piloting simulation.
