Gundam Movies DVD Correction

Bandai Entertainment has informed Anime on DVD that the information published to the Bandai homepage last week about the upcoming Gundam movie trilogy DVDs was incorrect. Contrary to prior reports the domestic release Gundam movie 1-3 DVDs will be subtitled only with selectable 5.1 Japanese and Dolby Surround Japanese audio. The films have been released by Bandai previously in dubbed and subtitled VHS format. The 3 disc DVD boxed set will include a bonus 12 page booklet featuring a new introduction written by Yoshiyuki Tomino, creator of Gundam, especially for this release. The movies will also be available on individual DVD.
