Good News For XBox

According to the Gaming Intelligence Agency, Sega has confirmed that they are working on 11 new games for the Japanese XBox console including a sequel to Jet Set Radio tentatively titled Jet Set Radio Future, a new Panzer Dragoon game, Sega GT 2 and shooter Gun Valkyrie.

The Gaming Intelligence Agency also reports that Microsoft announced at the Tokyo Game Show that Sega subsidiary Smilebit Studios would be developing all future releases exclusively for the XBox. This agreement so far includes Jet Set Radio Future and Gun Valkyrie and will include all future projects, but may also include ports of previous popular Smilebit productions including the arcade strategy game Hundred Swords and Typing of the Dead.

GameSpot reports that Namco has confirmed at least 2 unrevealed games are currently in production for the American & European XBox; Koei is at work on an action fantasy game titled Crimson Sea, scheduled for release next year, and Japanese publisher Takuyo is working on 3 Japanese release XBox games: the simulation RPG Runebird, an action RPG titled Master Slave, and an action game titled Magides Fight.
