Gonzo Announces Two New Productions

Fuji TV has announced that it will co-produce, with Gonzo Studios, an anime movie adaptation of Miyabe Miyuki’s novel Brave Story, “A fantasy adventure in which 10 year old Wataru enters the phantom world to ask a goddess to save his seriously injured mother.” Buena Vista International will also co-finance the production in return for international (including North American) distribution rights. The film will be released to Japanese theaters in the summer of 2006.

Kadokawa’s The Sneaker magazine has reported that Gonzo will produce an anime adaptation of the popular post-apocalyptic vampire novel/drama CD series Trinity Blood.
