Go! Media Announces Publishing Plans

Go! Media Entertainment has announced plans to launch a publishing line called “Go! Comi” to distribute English translations of Japanese manga and new international co-productions. Former Senior Editor for TOKYOPOP Jake Forbes will supervise the debut of four translated manga titles debuting this October:

Cantarella, by You Higuri
Her Majesty’s Dog, by Mick Takeuchi
Crossroad, by Mizuki Shioko
Tenshi ja Nai! (I’m No Angel!), by Takako Shigematsu

All four titles are still ongoing in Japan.

In addition, Go! Comi will publish The Almost Legendary Shannon, a collaboration between Go!’s Creative Director Audry Taylor and manga creator You Higuri.

The official Go! Comi website will open during the July 4th weekend.
